Registration Acceptance ConditionsApplication requirements are announced separately each semester when the quotas are announced.
Recognition of Prior LearningIn case of application for the lateral transfer quota announced in the relevant department, lateral transfer may be possible with the approval of the relevant department head and the decision of the institute's board of directors.
Degree Requirements and Rules to take a minimum of 7 courses with a minimum of 21 local credits.
to succeed in all the courses with a letter grade of at least CC/S
to prepare and defend a master's dissertation
to have a Cumulative Grade Point Average of at least 2.00/4.00 with a minimum of 120 ECTS credits.
Program ProfileThe main functions of the Private Law Master's Program with Thesis are to serve the development of students' scientific production skills by conducting scientific research, to train well-equipped scientists and researchers in the field of private law who can address problems in the field of private law from an analytical perspective and produce solutions, who can think abstractly, who have the ability to analyze private law within the framework of the theories they have learned, who can use their knowledge for these purposes, who can closely follow developments in private law in the world and in Turkey, who can look critically and analyze them with scientific methods in line with the principles of academic honesty. The Private Law Master's Program with Thesis aims to convey comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge in the field of private law through education provided by expert and experienced faculty members in the field.
Occupational Profiles of GraduatesGraduates can pursue careers in public institutions and private organizations after this program.
Access To Upper DegreeGraduates who successfully complete the master's program can apply to the doctoral program.
Exams, Assessment and Grading

Subject to the Principles of Namık Kemal University Postgraduate Education-Training and Examination Regulation No. 30022 and the Regulation on Amendments to Postgraduate Education and Training Regulation No. 28551.

5-Students of the Faculty of Law have the ability to produce solutions by transferring abstract legal information to concrete legal disputes.
